It's time to bring out your sunscreens again (if you haven't been using them all along). As the weather warms and you spend more time outdoors, winter-pale skin will be more likely to burn. Unfortunately, by the time you have some 'color' you may have already managed to acquire additional sun damage. The sun is one of the biggest contributors to fine lines and wrinkling. The rays of the sun damage the collagen and elastin which is the support system for the skin. This damage happens below the surface of the skin and results in fine lines which evolve into wrinkles. It's much easier to prevent the damage up front. All our sun protection products protect against both UVA and UVB rays (which makes them broad-spectrum). Some are best used underneath your moisturizer, some over. We offer both SPF30 and SPF15 formulations and the Gentle Resurfacing Lotion also has an SPF of 15. If you wear our custom blend foundation or custom blend mineral makeup, they contain additional spf protection. (You really can't have too much). If you haven't tried the sunscreens, samples are available of all our sunscreen products. We recommend the C'SPF30 Sunscreen Gel and the Face Protection SPF15 if you have normal to oily skin and Advanced Protection SPF30 and the C+ Moisturizer SPF15 for normal to dry skin. If you have very dry skin, you may need an additional moisturizer. You can also use the Gentle Resurfacing Lotion (which is a fabulous product) underneath them all.
