The great day has finally arrived! The Fighting Fathers
Member Site is now up and open and receiving members!

I've been telling you about some of the great features of
the proposed member site for a while now, but let me just
summarise here some of the great things you can do:

* You can build your ow.n blog (with easy online tools)
* Create podcasts (just plug in a mic and hit record)
* Share your pho.tos and videos
* Join in audio and video conferences
* Send audio and video postcards to your f/riends
* Design Powerpoint-style presentations online
* Share files, reviews, events
* Pick up f/ree or discounted software, ebooks, etc.

And that's just what we've completed thus far. Hopefully
we'll go on to develop our member site together over time
and build in even more features and benefits!

Three more important things to mention:

1. Membership is F/REE (yes, there is a great $10/month
paid option, but the f/ree option still kicks butt).

2. There's a f/ree copy of 'Web TV' (that allows you to
watch TV on your PC) waiting for you in the members area

3. The built-in affiliate program pays you 50% of all
subscription payments for new memb.er referals.

If you don't know how affiliate programs work, it's easy.

When you sign-up at http://www.fighting-fathers.com you'll
be given an unique referal URL to pass on to your f/riends.
When they c.lick that URL to go to the site and take out a
paid subscription, your member number is recorded, and you
automatically get p.aid 50% of what they pay, every month,
so long as they remain active paying members.

This means that if you refer 20 persons who take out a paid
subscription, you get $100 for the month. If you refer 200
people, you get $1000, etc.

Of course, I don't want to give you the impression that the
main purpose of our new site is to help you make m.oney as
it's not. Even so, there's no reason why our site shouldn't
benefit our members in a number of ways.

Our chief purpose though is to make a difference:

* support each other online
* share ideas and resources
* build an online presence and change the world

The possibilities for our membership site are enormous.
