April Classes
 
STORE HOURS AND LOCATION:
 
If you are new to us....we are open M-F 10am-9pm and Sat 10am-8pm and Sunday 12-5pm.
 
Our sign is currently being made for the front of our complex....so if you can't find us do not hesitate to call us at 815-609-5955. 
 
We are located on Route 30 in Plainfield.....we are just past 135th (towards 143rd) on the side OPPOSITE the Walgreen's.  We are a unit in the BACK of the Plainfield Small Business Center....behind J.Todd's Steakhouse, down the strip from Coco's Chocolates and almost behind Rosal's.

Please note...any crops with 3 or less people will end at normal store closing hours rather than the listed hours.
 
Croppers are welcome during ANY of our normal business hours as long as we have space....we welcome you free of charge during these hours!
 
 
April: 
18th (Fri) Potluck Crop 5pm-Midnight, 19th (SAT)- 10am-10pm
26th (Sat) Potluck Crop 10am-10pm
 
May:
2-3-4 NSD Weekend, 9th (Fri)-Potluck, 16th (Fri) Potluck, 24th (Sat)-Pasta, 30th (Fri) Potluck
Pasta Crop includes dinner -- homemade pasta sauce, pasta, bread and salad.  Please bring snacks to share. Free to Attend!
 
Potluck Crop means no meal and we ask you to bring a main dish or sandwich for yourself and a dish to share (veggies, fruit, dip and chips, etc).  Free to attend! 
 
If you are attending during a 12 hour crop on Potluck days please bring a few dollars for pizza to be ordered later in the evening!  Thanks.
 
Private Crops:  If you have a group of 6 or more we will allow private crops - minimum of 6 people at $10 a person.  Call for full details!
 
******On days where we have NO activity planned any group can come in for FREE to crop during normal business hours!
 
Class Kit Tools:
 
Please bring these items to any class you sign up for!

  • Adhesive
  • Ink Pad
  • Eyelet Setter/Crop-a-dile
  • Scrap Pen or markers
  • Photos if needed
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
Changes to our Classes 
**Effective immediately - in an effort to control our inventory we are no longer making up "extra" class kits.  The only time we will offer extras will be to class attendees.  There will be rare times we may have a kit available after a class but they are not going to be discounted.  In addition we also require you to prepay for your class so we know how many people to expect.  Classes are non-refundable.  Please sign up early as our classes have become pretty popular now that we are entering spring! 
 
**We also will be giving out a SUPPLY sheet prior to each class.  Make sure you get yours or we can email it to you.  See sidebar for the mandatory "minimum" Class Kit you should be bringing to all classes.  This will cut down on time for sharing items.

We've been hearing from our customers lately and have heard that people are spreading rumors that we are closing.  We are not closing our doors...if you have any questions about the validity of these rumors please call us directly.
 
We have been very honest with our customers regarding the slowness of business in general but please know we are doing everything we can to succeed.  We've seen a real slowdown of business and are hoping things pick up soon so we can stay in business for years to come.
 
Rumors of this sort are not helpful.  If we are closing our doors we'll for sure notify all of you with nothing but honesty like we've always done.  Thanks!
 
Exciting stuff coming up in May!  We have National Scrapbook Day weekend on May 3-4-5 -sign ups have already started..so call now to reserve your space!  The weekend will either be free or will be a nominal charge for food.
 
The 4th weekend in May we have our First ANNUAL Garage Sale.  More details to come soon...space will be limited but basically you reserve table space and bring in your treasures to sell and we give you store credit for any items you've sold...win-win all around.  You can sign up for a space now!

Cafe Your Way Projects! (Make and Takes)
 
Don't want to make it in the store or aren't local to us?  No problem.  Cafe Your Way is available through our online store for sale and also for local customers to buy and assemble at home.  Simply ask at the counter for it!

Fast Scrap Class 
Want to learn how to scrap?  Or just want to learn to scrap fast?  We are offering these classes for FREE.  We ask that you please RSVP in advance and we will cancel any class that has less than 3 NEW people in it.  You must purchase ONE kit from our store prior to the class....add photos to match and come back and make a great layout! 
 
For those that have taken this class before..you are always welcome to join us and sit in..although the same materials will be covered each time.  You can also take our new layout classes coming in May!

Boy Crown Album Class $20 - April 20th
Carole H. helps you with the masculine version of the Crown Album class that was held last month.  This class is on Sunday from 1-4pm.  This awesome kit would also work with girl pictures...the colors are blue and yellow.  No class kits will be available after the class.
