COK's New Brochure: Eating Sustainably

Eating Sustainably

Just in time for Earth Day, COK's new full-color tri-fold brochure lets readers know that animal agriculture is one of the leading causes of pollution and resource depletion today. By choosing vegetarian foods, each of us can help protect our p***t—and animals—at every meal.

During the month of April only, we're offering these brochures at no cost, so be sure to request your free copies today, and start encouraging others to fight global warming and animal abuse with their forks.

Industry News: U.S. Egg Consumption is "Historically Low"

The spring 2008 Urner Barry newsletter, an industry trade publication, asserts that the U.S. egg industry in 2007 saw the "largest single year decline in per-capita consumption in the last 10 years. Expectations for 2008 per-capita consumption are for levels to once again be historically low."

See page 8 of this newsletter.

Vegan Cheese Pizza & COK Benefit Day in Baltimore!

After working with Baltimore's Brick Oven Pizza for the past several weeks, COK is excited to announce that this popular and award-winning pizzeria is now using Teese, a vegan cheese made by Chicago Soy Dairy (makers of Temptation vegan ice cream)!

It's the first pizzeria in Baltimore to serve vegan cheese pizza, and to celebrate, it's hosting a COK benefit day on Tues., April 22: feast on vegan cheese pizza and 10% of the day's sales from the vegan menu will be automatically donated to help us help animals.
