Polygamist Raid

More than 400 children were removed from the west Texas compound of a polygamist sect earlier this week after child abuse was reported. A 16-year-old girl called authorities last week, alleging that her 50-year-old husband had raped and beaten her. Those inhabiting the compound were selected members of the FLDS Church, led by Warren Jeffs, the religious leader who was convicted last year of being an accomplice to rape. ABC's Dan Harris goes inside the sect, speaking to some of its former members.

'The Pope of Trash'

Cult movie writer and director John Waters has been called everything from the Prince of Puke to the the Duke of Dirt. Known for his pencil-thin mustache, he has directed 16 films, including the hit 1988 movie Hairspray, which was also adapted for the stage. He's adding another musical to his Broadway oeuvre this month called "Cry Baby." ABC's John Berman dropped in on Waters in his Baltimore home.

Multicultural Meals

Award-wining chef Marcus Samuelsson has made it his mission to bring African cuisine to American palates. The 37-year-old was born in Ethiopia but lost his mother to tuberculosis at a young age, forcing him to move to Sweden to live with an adopted family. Though raised in the Nordic country, it's in his native Africa that Samuelsson's flavors find their roots. His newest New York restaurant, Merkato 55, blends African, Caribbean and South American flavors. Find out how to cook his cuisine in tonight's installment of the "Nightline" Platelist.
