There really isn't anything worse than folk, under the guise of meaning well, behaving really badly. There seems to be a lot of that happening lately, and tell you what, it's selfish, inconsiderate, and simply uncouth. The worst instances, of course, are those in which there's no recognition of guile, merely a misguided earnestness that rings empty and false to anyone with a modicum of sense and moral fiber. This is, as Harry Burns (from Harry met Sally) might put it: "the worst kind. You're high maintenance but you think you're low maintenance."
Being so is merely reprehensible. Denial of it, well, I leave that to you to categorize. And so I leave you with this question: does your soul have more fiber than a small bag of sweet chile spice doritos? (and if so, are you sweet, slightly spicy and a little crunchy to boot?)
