   Layouts With Pizazz

Instructions:

  1. Place a sheet of striped paper with the stripes running horizontally.
  2. Mat a 5"x7" photo and a 2"x3" photo on lavender cardstock, trimming each mat to 1/8". Glue the larger photo at an angle in the top right corner of the page and add three Sparkle Brads down the top left edge.
  3. Glue the smaller photo at an angle in the top left corner of the page and add a Sparkle Brad to the bottom left corner. Layer two sets of two flowers and attach them around the smaller photo using Sparkle Brads.
  4. Punch out various monograms to spell “smiley”. Tie gingham ribbon around the middle of the “S”. Punch two holes down the left side of the “M” and three down the left side of the “L”. Mat the “M”, “L” and “Y” on white cardstock and trim to 1/16". Glue the word “smiley” across the bottom of the page. Dot the “i” with a small silk flower, attached with a Sparkle Brad. Add Sparkle Brads to the “M” and “Y”. Zot™ a knot of gingham ribbon to the “E”.

A tip from LeNae:
For a quick and easy page title, LeNae turned to her pack of punch-out Pastel Monograms, mixing and matching a variety of colors and fonts for a playful look. While you can stop right there for a simple title, LeNae boosted the personality with easy embellishing techniques. She punched holes in some of the letters and matted them on white cardstock, then embellished others with gingham ribbon and fun Sparkle Brads. To top it all off, she dotted the letter “i” with a pretty silk flower! Accenting each letter differently creates an exciting look.
