Public and Private companies, Government entities and learning institutions are finding it necessary to implement “Non-Invasive” (and Non-Threatening) Data Governance and Data Stewardship programs to improve and achieve discipline around the management of the enterprise’s most critical and valuable data.  Many of these organizations are focusing on maximizing the value of data integration efforts (CDI, MDM, EDW, ERP, …), improving data infrastructure, securing classified data, satisfying regulators, and improving data architecture as drivers behind implementing “Non-Invasive Data Governance”™ programs.

What exactly is “Non-Invasive Data Governance”™?  I use the term “non-invasive” because of how the approach inherently leverages existing accountability, responsibilities, authority, and applies governance to existing standard operating procedures, methodologies and processes.  Moving from informal to formal accountability for valuable organizational data immediately improves proactive and reactive communications around the management of that data, improves audit-ability, integrity, consistency, classification, security around that data.  Data Governance does not have to be about “command and control”.  Come to this 2-day session and learn about how the non-invasive approach leverages existing strengths and addresses opportunities to improve in a non-threatening way.

Mr. Seiner has provided this seminar for corporate, government and education entities on site at their locations for many years and began providing the course in a public setting a few years ago due to overwhelming interest.  By providing public classes, Mr. Seiner hopes to reach a broader audience and those companies that are interested in learning about successful stewardship & governance implementations but that don’t have the numbers of interested individuals to bring the Seminar on-site.
