Greeting from Midwest Sport Aviation, LLC to you. Just a quick update on what is going on with us and the Cheetah XLS.

Progress this winter:

The weather has been very cold here in Wisconsin. We have also been getting hit by an average of 1 – 2 snow storms a week during January and February.

Temperatures have been as low as -15 Degrees and this has slowed the progress down. It is hard to get too excited about working in a sub zero hanger. We also went from freezing rains to having a thunderstorm that rained so hard that we had rain flowing into our hanger door. After a bit of engineering outside in the pouring rain by building a makeshift dam out of the snow, and shoveling a path in the snow for the rain to go, we got the flooding under control. Oh the joys of winters in Wisconsin!

The weather has not curbed our enthusiasm for the Cheetah XLS though. We will be finishing the demonstrator this spring. We are currintly planning to test the Tennessee prop as well as the Prince Aircraft Carbon fiber prop. We will let you know how this goes.

Oshkosh Air Venture 2008 Update - Midwest Sport Aviation, LLC will be

sLSA certification update:

The question is occasionally asked about when we expected to get sLSA

certification completed. While we hesitate to give a definitive date for the certification, we are

projecting completion in June. The certification compliance is being completed by Rainbow Aircraft (pty) ltd in South Africa and we will be submitting the statements of compliance. sLSA Aircraft will be made-to-order after sLSA certification is completed.
