teachers and education professionals will join us for this special event.
Easter Day is the first Sunday after
the Paschal full moon, the first full moon after the vernal equinox on March 21st.
Sunday, March 23rd is Easter Sunday 2008. Along with the dyed eggs
and candy, look below for some Easter basket ideas from Square Books, Jr.
Two of the authors coming for signings
this week have received a lot of attention in the recent press. Hillary
Jordan's debut novel, MUDBOUND, received the Bellwether Prize for fiction, an
award founded by author Barbara Kingsolver to promote literature of social
responsibility. An NPR Morning Edition interview with Hillary Jordan can be
found at http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=88195380.
Richard Price is the author of THE
WANDERERS, FREEDOMLAND, and CLOCKERS and screenplays for The Color of Money,
Sea of Love, Ransom, Shaft, and episodes of HBO's The
Wire. He will be here to sign his new book, LUSH LIFE, which Dennis Lehane
calls Price's masterwork. Richard Price gave a great interview on NPR:
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=87893862.
The
