Interviews with PJ Ladd are pretty rare. But good for us, Ryan Gallant, one of PJ’s longtime good buds, cornered him a few weeks ago and got in a pretty solid Q and A with PJ. Besides finding out that Gallant has a future in investigative interviewing, we learned about how PJ came to throw out the first pitch at a Red Sox game, how he got his jewels jacked, and how he ended up wearing a full spandex suit… on three separate occasions.

Last week, mid-road trip to Lake Tahoe for a little snowboarding, we found time for an interview with DC BMX team member Chad Kagy. For this we stuck to the subject of vertical riding—how Chad got started in vert, vert’s amazing progression in the last few years, and what tricks Chad’s currently working on to keep that progression going in 2008.
