The villagers of White Horse Village in China are being moved from their homes as part of government plans to relocate 500 million people out of rural areas and into high rise blocks in the cities. When presenter Carrie Gracie first visited the village, she got an extraordinary and rare insight into the impact of this change on ordinary people. One year later, Carrie returned and found that many of the characters she met the first time are still desperately holding out against the change. Part of the Inside China season.
