Antigone Bargain Books
book stack More reading for less
We love putting bargains in the hands of our customers.  There are three ways we offer discounted books.
  • Used books - We are admittedly picky about what we purchase: primarily paperback fiction and other books that are currently popular.
  • 1/2 price hardcovers - great deals!  When a book comes out in paperback, and if we still have the hardcover,  we often mark it down to 1/2 price (making it cheaper than the paperback at times).
  • Remainders - the best deal of all!  These are new books, most often hardcover, which are no longer selling for the original publisher.  The unsold inventory is disposed of by selling it to a remainder house (then to us, and then to you) at a huge discount.

Come in and see what we have in our ever-revolving bargain area.  There is just one catch with these books, which is that once these books are gone, they often cannot be re-ordered.

Book Groups

(Note: the first two groups will meet on Street Fair Sunday, so biking, bussing or leaving extra time for parking would be a good idea.  If you drive, try parking west of 4th Avenue.)
