creativeprose - the weekly newsletter for creative professionals, by CreativePro.com | Where Creatives Go to Know
Editor's Corner: Learning Curve

Thanks to everyone who visited the redesigned CreativePro.com in the past week, and my apologies to anyone who tried but couldn't get through. If you're considering a major overhaul of any large Web site, learn this from our experience: Simultaneously introducing a new site skin and new content management system and new server platform is, uh, complicated.

The site is now stable and waiting for you with open virtual arms. While you're there, please tell us what you think by either posting in the forums at www.creativepro.com/forum/about-new-site, or by commenting on the orientation article at www.creativepro.com/article/welcome-redesigned-creativeprocom. We read this stuff and take it to heart. In fact, we're already working on some modifications you've requested, such as printer-friendly versions of article pages.

As you'll see, most articles include Comments buttons toward the top and bottom of the center column. Some site visitors have already discovered this; for example, there's a bit of a debate about the merits of sharing screens with clients at www.creativepro.com/article/62341/comments. Start your own debate today!
