There's Still Time to Get Active for Meatout!
Register your plans with us to request a free Event Pack (pictured right) with posters, handouts, stickers and more. Or request handouts for leafleting. Meatout manufacturers are now listed. Here are some quick and easy ways to get active for Meatout: * Send Meatout e-cards with the Meatout message and your personal greeting to your family and friends.
* Arrange a Food Sampling to publicize the delicious meat & dairy alternatives available in stores. * Set up an Information Table or Exhibit at your favorite public spot. * Arrange a Video Screening of the recent undercover footage at the Westland/Hallmark meat plant. You can also help suport Meatout with our fun online giving form, and win 3 months of free Purely Decadent ice cream. Our new online Giving Form makes collecting pledges fun and easy! We also designed special handouts showing a downed cow lying in the mud. The back of the card explains that abuse of downed animals is standard operating procedure in U.S. slaughter-houses, and calls on USDA to recall all meat products.

For prospective speakers, we need preferred topics, relevant qualifications, and prior speaking experience. Suggested topics may include lectures, discussions, or video presentations. The Conference will be held on August 14-18 at the Hilton Mark Center Hotel in Alexandria, VA, a suburb of the nation's capital and past venue of our 2006 event. The Hotel offers $97 rooms, magnificent meeting and exhibit space, vegan cuisine, cruelty free bedding, and a free shuttle to the Metro and Washington National Airport. Please send your speaker/topic suggestions and get discounted registration rate before March 31st.
