BBC World will be following his tour which is aimed at generating momentum in the peace process. Also this week, the BBC's Matthew Collin will be in Georgia, as the country goes to the polls. The elections are being held to resolve tensions between President Saakashvili (pictured) and his opponents, but will they achieve that goal? |

The World Debate is a series of discussion programmes on issues affecting the world today. In this programme, six distinguished speakers debate the future of Iraq in front of an audience of two thousand in London. Among those taking part is Elizabeth Cheney, former US diplomat and daughter of US Vice President Dick Cheney.

Both the One Laptop Per Child project and Intel are committed to providing low-cost computer technology to children in developing countries. The BBC's Rory Cellan-Jones travels to Nigeria, where pilots of both schemes are up and running, to see if the laptop is quite as wonderful an educational tool as its creators claim. He also explores whether developing countries can be convinced that supplying computers for children is as important as providing basic facilities like water and electricity.

Retired General Sir Mike Jackson (pictured) is the guest on this week's Have Your Say, the BBC's weekly multimedia discussion programme. Sir Mike was the ground force commander who led British troops into the Serbian province of Kosovo in 1999. He was also involved in the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and described US post-war policy in the country as "intellectually bankrupt". To discuss with Sir Mike issues concerning the British Army, including operating with coalition forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, the UK's defence policy and the future of Kosovo, please click here.

Children On The Frontline travels to some of the world's most perilous regions to meet the young people who are doing something to combat the risks to themselves and to their communities from disasters - natural and man-made. This week the programme looks at the work done by the children of El Salvador to protect this vulnerable nation, blighted by earthquakes and hurricanes. Children's emergency committees have been working at community and district level, undertaking hazard mapping, mitigation activities and planning mobilisation in response to emergency situations.
