Your kitchen is more than just a place to cook. It’s where you entertain friends and family, plan your week, help kids with big, messy school projects or maybe even do homework of your own. So, it’s no wonder your junk drawers get overstuffed … the pantry gets cluttered … and the fridge door is covered with notes. It’s time for spring cleaning, and IKEA solutions can help organize your kitchen so that you may never need to “spring clean” it again. Your friends will wonder if you even cook in it.

Going green is all the rage, and that’s great news for our p***t. If you’re ready to go green, why not start in your kitchen? Choose a refrigerator, dishwasher and other appliances that are engineered to use less energy. Install IKEA CFL bulbs that contain less mercury thank other brands. Bring home groceries in IKEA blue reusable bags. Make recycling easier by sorting your metals and glass in dedicated containers. For furnishings, select tables, chairs and cabinets that are made with fast-replenishing wood sources such as bamboo. Also consider furnishings made from harvested materials – think banana leaves – that otherwise would go to waste.

There’s an old joke that a good night’s sleep is one of the few things you enjoy that’s actually good for you. But it can be hard to fall asleep if conditions aren’t just right – perfect pillow, cozy bed. If you’re part of a couple, your ideal conditions may even clash with your partner’s sleep style – keeping both of you awake at night. Whether you sleep alone or share your bed, our bedding solutions can help you get the rest you need. But be careful. You might want to sleep all day too.
