[5] Parker adds Ethernet PowerLink to ACR9000 motion control platform

Parker Hannifin have enhanced their ACR9000 motion
controller family with the addition of two new models
featuring Ethernet PowerLink. Providing coordinated control
for up to 16 axes, the addition of EPL technology increases
system performance while decreasing overall system costs and
installation time. Inexpensive and readily available
ethernet cabling is used for the interface between the
controller and drive axes, removing the need for traditional
analogue control- and feedback-cabling. As a result system
design and machine installation times are greatly reduced.

WDS Gliderz is a low profile multi-directional skate, which
can be fastened directly onto static work stations, placed
underneath a levelling foot or beneath a fixed leg on almost
any workstation or machine. Gliderz is a patented product
