   Deccan Chronicle to launch financial daily in April-May; appoints Meridian as creative agency

Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd, publisher of English daily Deccan Chronicle, will be launching its financial daily in the first half of the calendar year 2008. Mahendra Singh Dhoni proved to be the most expensive cricketer, going for a whopping Rs 6 crore. He was snapped up by the Chennai Superkings.
