A Note from Linda:

Hi Criss,

A great big THANKS to all of you who wrote such wonderful notes after reading the story of the heart attack I had several years ago!

(If you're new to my newsletter, you can read the story here.)

glitter heartI was so touched and blessed by your personal stories and encouraging words. It goes to show that ALL of us need to take heart health to heart.

Thanks, again, to all of you who took the time to write!

By the way, the gold, glitter heart you see here and the one I featured in last week's newsletter are from the lovely Sweet Valentine kit by Aneta Branch. Check out the Learn Digital Scrapbooking section below for a kit preview.

CD update

I finally got my voice back so I could continue to record the last few lessons for my new training CDs for Photoshop Elements 6 and Adobe Photoshop CS3.

We're working now on changing the format so it'll be compatible with more computers, especially now that Vista for Windows has come out.

We're so close to having it ready! I hope to be able to announce it THIS WEEK! So stay tuned...

Tip of the Week

If you're the kind of person who likes to save time with easy-to-use shortcuts, then be sure to read my tip at the end of this newsletter!

Love and scrapbooking success,

Linda

February Premier: Photo Fantasia
Lesson #3: Fashion Parade

When you look back at what you wore 5, 10, 20 or more years ago, you might laugh at the clothes you used to wear "back then."

Fashions and hairstyles certainly do date us, so take advantage of that fact, and make a page showcasing today's fashions for you (and your descendants!) to enjoy in future years.

In Lesson 3 of the Photo Fantasia series we'll explore how to photograph and assemble a page like this one.

Sweet Valentine Kit by Aneta Branch

This kit by Aneta Branch, aka SweetMade, is full of dark delights (think chocolate brown and romantic red!) and yummy eye candy, perfect for Valentine pages. The pages are richly colored and lavishly textured for your scrapbooking pleasure!

by Linda Sattgast

Did you know you can change several type layers at the same time?

In this example I have four type layers that feature different fonts. Each type layer is also a different color, and a different size.

Check out how easy it is to make changes in my quick "Type Tool Tricks" tutorial!
