Falling house prices, shaky stock market, rising unemployment, increasing fuel costs are all signs of a recession. It's still debatable if we are in a recession or just a slow down. By the time the numbers are in, we'll already know. Small business owners feel the pinch first. I have heard from many of you in certain sectors or geographic areas talk of an abrupt slow down in business. In times like these, it's time to decide to stay strong or move on. My experience in past recessions, have showed some businesses can thrive. As I expanded the retail stores nationwide for NordicTrack, we entered a recession. Despite the poor consumer confidence, we broke all sales forecasts. Even in hard times, a luxury product can do well when position right.
