Hey Griffins Fans,

Wow! What an incredible night! While hats rained down on the Van Andel Arena ice, over 10,000 fans gave a hair-raising ovation after witnessing Darren McCarty score a hat trick in his home debut to help the Griffins defeat the Lake Erie Monsters 6-3. 

Here are the highlights to what was among the most memorable nights in team history.

Grand Rapids will continue its five-game home stand Saturday night against the Milwaukee Admirals at 7 p.m. Come on out and see McCarty in action, and meet Phil Stacey from last season's American Idol before the game. Stacey will also perform live during the first intermission. About 1,000 tickets remain, so order yours now!

Depending on your security settings and preferences (ActiveX controls and pop-up blockers), you may have to enable or approve each video before it will run. You can okay each broadcast by right-clicking on the link and selecting the "temporarily allow" button.

-- Some network systems will not allow streaming videos to play, usually in a work environment. If this is the case, you can forward this email to your home or elsewhere to view it.

-- Unfortunately, streaming video is a few years away from looking like TV. If you can avoid watching full screen or stretching the image it will appear more clearly (think smaller but better).
