dcskateboarding.tv IS LIVE
This week were proud to announce the launch of dcskateboarding.tv, DCs new website focused solely on skateboarding. Updated with fresh videos and photos regularly, .tv is the new number one source for info on the DC skate team.
Between the team trips, the skate missions, the late nights at the ramp, and the assorted contests here and there, were constantly filming and shooting photos of the guys. While much of it makes it to video parts, theres still lots of extra stuff. The idea with dcskateboarding.tv is to have a place to post all those videos and photos, whether funny, b angle, random, or just good skating.

PRESENTING THE 100% DIP SET: RGB
A part of the DC Skateboarding Collection, for Spring 2008 were proud to release a new take on a tried-and-true DC skate shoe: the Manteca 3 RGB pack.
Based off the spirit of customization, we took the Manteca 3, a classic DC skate shoe, and pushed RGB into the coloration mix. Result: the SP08 fully dipped Monochromatic assortment. Theyre simply DC shoes that weve colored up 100% red, green, blue and black.
The four shoes in the RGB pack are available exclusively at skate shops for Spring 2008, like Installation in Boulder, CO, whose custom RGB window is pictured to the left.

CHAS AND TORSTEIN ALL OVER HONDA SESSIONS AT VAIL
Chas and Torstein, podium celebration. That's one of DC's new boards in Chas' hand.
Last weekend DC team riders Chas Guldemond and Torstein Horgmo were all over the podiums at Honda Sessions in Vail, Colorado. In slopestyle, Torstein took 2nd place and Chas took 3rd. Chas upped his podium count by winning the rail jam, and got next level by pulling a backside 1440 on the slopestyle course, the first one ever in competition!
Things got hot during Saturday nights slopestyle
literally. Honda Sessions goes off at night with burst of flames as riders hit each kicker. Great balls of fire explode as they send it on the four-jump line (50, 60, 70, and finally 80 footer) and hit the rail set-up at the bottom. With a scene like that, Honda Sessions is one of the most exciting contests to watch on the TTR World Tour.
Torsteins 2nd place consisted of a cab 900, frontside 1080, backside 900, and a switch backside 1260. Chas 3rd place run saw a switch backside 900, frontside 720 tail, Cab 900, backside 1260, a McTwist in the bowl, and a 270-on 270-off on the down box. His backside 1440 came on the last jump of the last run of the day... thats four full rotations, folks!
Congrats to Torstein and Chas on the great results at Honda Sessions!

MILLSAPS BATTLES TO 3RD IN SAN DIEGO
Davi Millsaps has been consistently on AMA Supercross podiums for the last few races
last weekend he kept his podium streak alive by taking 3rd place as the 2008 series rolled into San Diego.
In his heat race Davi was all over the leaders rear fender, but unfortunately he collided with another slower rider and crashed. He recovered in time to take 3rd place, enough for Main event entry.
Davi (118) and Chad duke it out in the Main.
In the Main Event Davi came out of the first turn in the lead
last year during Outdoors racing he became known for earning holeshots, and this was Davis first for the 6 race old 2008 SX season. The rest of the 20-lap main saw some great battles for the lead. Davi lead early on taking some interesting lines, and then settled into 2nd place for the middle part of the race. When Reed fell in the sand, Davi was all over him, taking the lead back. The crowd went nuts for the next 4 laps as the two went back and forth
Davi eventually slipped back on the last lap to 3rd place.
The strong result puts Davi in 4th place in the overall season standings
for more photos and info on last weekends SX in San Diego check out www.twmx.com. Stay tuned
the series hits Houston, TX this weekend!
