Sennheiser Opens Japan Subsidiary
Tokyo (February 15, 2008)--Sennheiser Electronic today officially announced the launch of its Japan subsidiary, Sennheiser Japan KK.
Casino Ballroom Strikes It Rich
New Hampshire (February 15, 2008)--The historic Hampton Beach Casino and its Casino Ballroom are popular vacation spots in New England. While it’s hosted many big names over the years, the 2,200-seat ballroom needed--and recently received--a major redesign of its audio and lighting systems, including the addition of a new loudspeaker system based on Meyer Sound’s Mica compact curvilinear array loudspeaker.
Church Faces Face Audio Amps
Chicago (February 15, 2008)--Christ Universal Temple recently installed a new sound system, working with Mike Shlifka who owns All American Music & Sound. The company is a long-time sound vendor to the church, so Shlifka was approached by church officials who asked if he could provide a major upgrade but within a very tight budget; part of the result included a selection of Face Audio amplifiers.
YCAS Taps Seable, Robinson
Buena Park, CA (February 15, 2008)--Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems (YCAS) has named Steve Seable product manager for the DSP and Amplifier Group; and Peter Robinson as product manager for the Speaker Product team.
Prism Sound Ships First Orpheus Units
Cambridge, UK (February 15, 2008)--Producer, DJ, record label owner, solo artist--Tim Liken is a busy man. Liken's latest distinction: he recently became the first producer in the UK to take delivery of Prism Sound's new Orpheus Firewire interface, which began shipping last month. Liken received two Orpheus units.
