When Canon's Chuck Westfall popped by last month to give us a sneak preview of the EOS Rebel XSi, I expressed my disappointment that the camera's raw continuous-shooting maxed out at a mere six frames. I asked Chuck if there was anything on the horizon that might deliver a better raw burst-shooting experience for the can't-afford-a-Mark-III set. How to migrate from 8mm to digital

I have a library of movies that I shot several years ago using an 8mm video camera. For the most part I've done all of the recording on "fresh" 8mm tapes, which I still have, however some of the tapes have been saved onto VHS tapes. What I would like to do is move all of these over to DVD. I have a new P4 PC w/DVD recorder and I still have the 8mm tapes. Using the bits I have can convert the tapes to DVD? I do not see video/audio jacks on the PC, so I don't see that it is possible to connect the camera to the PC. Read more
