Five things ERP vendors don't want you to know

Rule Number 6 from the smart folks at MIT's Systems Lab at states: It ain't what you don't know that hurts you; it's what you DO know that ain't so. As Software-as-a-Service has become the delivery model of choice for core enterprise applications, what you DO know that ain't so about on-demand software -- things like "Hosted means on-demand or Software-as-a-Service" (wrong!), or "Customization is IN. Configurability is OUT" (wrong!) can really hurt you.
