Happy Imbolic

Greetings

       'Imbolc' means, literally, 'in the belly' (of the Mother). For in the womb of Mother Earth, hidden from our mundane sight but sensed by a keener vision, there are stirrings. The seed that was planted in her womb at the solstice is quickening and the new year grows.
       This is a ancient holiday for many cultures around the world. As the mother slumbers in the blanket of winters chill. Life is preparing to burst into the world and spread hope and joy throughout the earth.
        Today those that know and those that can feel the earths stirrings celebrate the birth of new life to our world.
