he euphoria of entering a New Year is over: the Airtels and the Vodafones have gone laughing to the bank courtesy the zillions of SMS greetings that traversed their networks. We took our time this year with our annual year-beginning property REWIND. We just wanted to make sure it is better than the last time. As we look forward to 2008, it may be worth our while to turn the clock back to review 2007. There is no gainsaying that 2007 was a great year: the economy hit double-digit growth in most months, FDI inflows and reserves hit record levels, marketers struck the usual pot of gold in the festive season, the media grew healthily across all platforms...
