DC WELCOMES PJ LADD
After months of speculation, this week DC is proud to officially welcome PJ Ladd to the skate team.
About the addition of PJ to the team, DC Co-founder Ken Block said, I couldn't be happier to have PJ join the DC team. His skateboarding speaks for itself and he makes the DC team even more dynamic. I look forward to what DC and PJ can accomplish together.
Originally from Boston, Mass., PJ quickly gained attention because of his highly technical street skating.
PJ's unique style and original approach to skateboarding go hand in hand with what DC stands for.
Danny Way said, PJ is one of the, if not the, most talented skateboarders of all time.
Im super psyched to have PJ on the team," said Josh Kalis. "The kids got style for miles.
Ryan Smith added, Just go to YouTube and type in 'PJ Ladd' so you can see for yourself why you would be stoked to be on the same team as him. Nice guy to boot!
To coincide with this announcement weve uploaded PJs biography at dcshoes.com and a new PJ video clip at the soon to be launched dcskateboarding.tv. PJ is also on the cover of the new Skateboard Mag--keep an eye out for issue 48 as the Mag is due to hit shops sometime next week.
Look for more PJ footage, photos, and info in the coming weeks.

NEW BEHIND THE SCENES PHOTOS / VIDEOS FROM MTN.LAB 1.5
This week we pushed live a special section at dcshoes.com/snow focused on the snowboarding and rally session that happened at Snow Park resort in New Zealand! The site is an add-on to the footage seen in MTN.LAB 1.5, and is loaded with a large photo gallery plus an assortment of video clips, including two that we edited especially for this special section.
The two new clips present a behind the scenes look at how the whole day went down. One clip is a look at the details of the unprecedented 3-day shoot, and includes a few clips that didnt make the movies final cut. The second clip covers Kens massive rally car jump at the very end of the movie
what went wrong, how he broke his back, and more.
Though some of the photos in the gallery have made it to the pages of the mags, most of them have never been seen before!
The other pieces of video that weve posted are straight from MTN.LAB 1.5. Check them out to see some of what all the MTN.LAB 1.5 buzz is about, then head to your favorite shop to score a full copy of the DVD. We've also released a clip from the DVDs bonus features: a downright silly Eddie Wall tricktip that sees him teaching 540s.

DANE REYNOLDS PROFILE IN SURFER
DCs Dane Reynolds has been coming in hot over the last few weeks with tons of footage and covers
this month he keeps the ball rolling by scoring a 10-page profile in the new Surfer Magazine.
The profile is a great barometer of where Danes sitting mentally and competitively these days as he preps for his World Championship Tour birth this year. You get a feel for Danes mindset about coming up so quickly, the super-hype surrounding him, and the unwarranted guilt he feels for making it to the CT. When I qualified, I felt guilty, because I felt like therere so many guys out there that would love to be in my position and I wasnt really as stoked as I should have been.
The February 2008 issue of Surfer Magazine is in shop now.

JOSH HILL, BROC HEPLER EACH SCORE FIRST 08 PODIUMS AT ANAHEIM 2
Josh Hill.
Last weekend the AMA Supercross Series rolled back to Anaheim, CA for the third event of the season, and DC riders represented well by taking their first podiums of the year. Josh Hill took 2nd place in the Supercross class, while his teammate Broc Hepler took second in the Supercross Lites class.
Hill looked strong all night on the throwback trackfor Anaheim 2 organizers recreated a famous track from 86 that featured a big triple and sand turns. (Racers even donned throwback kits to match the throwback vibe of the evening). After making it through his heat race comfortably, Hill came out of the first turn in the main event in 4th place. The unique track made it tough to make passes, but Hill took over 2nd place early on and stayed there for the remainder of the final.

Hepler in his heat race.
In Lites racing, Hepler traded places for the lead with two other riders in the first heat, leading the race for the middle part. He washed out his front end in the sand on the sixth and final lap, but still managed to recover and earn third. Hepler went on to the 15 lap Supercross Lites main event, where he got off to an average start. He battled and made it through to the third slot on lap 8, then about 4 laps later he slipped into 2nd place. He started to reel in on the leader, (and was looking good to catch him), but just ran out of time.
The AMA Supercross Series continues this weekend in San Francisco. Go here for the complete schedule to find out when the series will hit a town near you!
