About Desktop Publishing: Should You Print It Yourself?

from Jacci Howard Bear Years ago (over a decade ago now that I think about it, wow!) I self-published a small magazine. Initially my co-publisher and I did it all ourselves, printing it on her 300 dpi monochrome laser printer. As the subscriber list and the size of the publication grew, we began having it commercially printed (still B&W). Now days I'd almost definitely go the commerical route right from the beginning -- it saves so much time and frustration in the long run. But in-house printing is still an option. Sound off in the "Printing and Selling Greeting Cards" discussion and tell us about your experiences along these lines. |
