The Best Network Storage for Home and Small Business
Today, since we all have more data than ever--whether it be shared sales information in a small office or big bytes of media on a home network--we need to pack in the gigs wherever we can. NAS (network-attached storage) devices are becoming increasingly common, as well as indispensable.
Here are two of our favorites for home use and another two that are well suited for small businesses.
Preview: Apple's Thin Air
The talk of Steve Jobs' MacWorld keynote last week was the MacBook Air, now the thinnest ultraportable on the market. PC Mag analyst Cisco Cheng was on hand to get a first look at the ultra-slim laptop and take a walkthrough of its features, including a full keyboard, integrated webcam, and new multitouch trackpad. Read his whole preview and get the complete specs on PCMag.com.

A Minimalist Monochrome Laser
HP's petite LaserJet P1006 is a personal laser printer that offers reasonable speed and print quality. It even has both an external wired network option and a Wi-Fi option that connect through the USB port, so you can share it easily over a network. However, there are better values to be had, even in some slightly more expensive models.

GarbageClean Update is Still Trashy
GarbageClean 3.0 doesn't remove most malware, nor does it provide real-time protection. To top it off, it's not free anymore. Although it does attempt to remove some valid files, this antispyware program is, well, garbage.
Read on for our full review before you decide to buy.
A New Look for Linksys
The WRT310N exemplifies the new look of Linksys home routers, which involves not just a sleek new case but a face and feature lift to its EasyLink Advisor setup and management software. The result is a pretty new home router at an attractive price--but it still has one huge flaw: It's slow.

Security Watch: How To Minimize Risk from Zero-Day Attacks
Another zero-day attack on Office was revealed by Microsoft. Only older versions are affected and the attacks appear to be very limited, but it's still worthy of attention. To find out if you and your system may be at risk, head over to Security Watch for full details on who's most vulnerable and what you can do to stay protected.
