GroupM wins media mandate for Indian Premier League

GroupM has won the media mandate for the Indian Premier League (IPL) following a multi-agency pitch. A formal decision on this is expected at a BCCI board meeting on January 24, 2008. Sources close to the development, nonetheless, informed that GroupM had pitched for the business as group. It is not yet clear which GroupM agency would handle the account.
