October I went on my first field trip in 15 years. Breuklyn's
Pre-K class went to the Pumpkin Patch and I went with her. As I
stood in front of my closet the morning of the fieldtrip, I
found myself questioning what I should wear. "Hmmm... should I
wear that shirt? Ugh. I can't wear those pants. I wonder what
the other moms will be wearing." After I asked Brad for the
third time, "Do you like this pair of shoes? Do they make my
feet look cute or fat?" he, not so very patiently, responded,
"Seriously? Who cares? I certainly don't think that anyone is
going to judge you for your footwear." Well, Breuklyn might not
