Outlook Profit is a new magazine from the Outlook Group launching in February that will cater to serious stock market investors. Khan’s last stint was with Tribune as Branch Head for Delhi for four years. Khan has also worked in Indian Express, Delhi, for four years. After Indian Express, he moved to Outlook Group for three years as Assistant Manager where he handled split editions of Delhi and Mumbai. He has thirteen years of experience in Marketing and Sales of a range of products and services.
Canaan Partners, a global venture capital firm specializing in early-stage technology and life sciences companies, has appointed Harish Gandhi as Executive Director. His mandate is to strengthen and expand Canaan’s investments in the technology space. He moves from Bharti Airtel where he headed the VAS business and New Products Development team. He has also worked as VP, Business Strategy & Planning at Bharti Airtel where he was responsible for leading the 3G effort. Gandhi has also served as Director-Marketing & Technology at Nokia.
Rahul Gambhir, after a three-year stint as Head of Red Bull Energy Drink for India, is all set to join Tommy Hilfiger as India Business Head. At Red Bull he spearheaded Marketing & Sales and growing the brand significantly to its current high levels. From a hardly known brand, today Red Bull has become the energy drink of choice for a fast growing segment of active adults. Gambhir has earlier worked with Madura Coats, Standard Chartered Bank and Johnson & Johnson.
Ashish Chopra has joined Pyramid Saimira Group, which is into malls and multiplex construction, as Manager-Marketing, Delhi. Prior to this he was with Media Transasia India as Senior Manager, handling corporate sales. Chopra has 10 years of experience in print media, beginning his career with Hindustan Times as Senior Executive, Sales, looking after the Delhi and Chandigarh regions. Later, he moved to Tribune and Amar Ujala Publications to handle their corporate sales.
