You Sweet Thing
By Kate Honarvar

Valentines is coming up. I was thinking that it is not too late to get a start on my valentine projects. Now I just need to decide what it is I want to make. I was thinking about maybe using one of my favorite valentine Creatables to cover a box of conversation hearts. Then maybe using my Cricut machine to make tags to personalize each one. I will have to get started on those. It may take me a while to get them all done. But they will be fun to make. I am excited to watch the message board to see what you all come up with. Make sure to post and share your wonderful creations. I love to see what you make! Have a great week!

Top Tip:
I found a great paint to enhance Creatables and other PC Crafter art: Foam Paint. It’s available at Michaels for only .99 (full price) and gives a raised dimensional feel and look when dry without needing a heat gun to “puff” it up. The paint comes in regular, glitter, and glow in the dark, all with a fine tip on the bottle, no brush needed. It works very well on paper and cardstock, and is carried with the regular acrylic paints, not the fabric paints or foam sheets.

What I Have Learned:
I have learned that no matter how old your children are...they are still your children & you are still "the mother". One of my sons, who is 25, is in New York City this week, looking for a job as a web designer. My other two children live in other towns in Oklahoma. We have had a big ice storm here in Oklahoma this week & the first thing you think about when something like that happens, is if your children are safe. One son is married & has started a life away from our home, but he is still my little boy. The one that is in New York City is the oldest, but I still need a call from him every day or two, to make sure he is safe, while he is there. No matter how old your children get, you never stop worrying about them. They make fun of me & roll their eyes, when I tell them to check in, but I wonder how many children there are, especially this time of year, that have never known that. I have learned that all they need to know is that they are loved...that's enough.

About:
I remember how it was before I discovered pcCrafter and Hugware Creatables and CDs. I used to wish I could make things to sell from the graphics I would see for sale. Then I discovered The Best graphics there are available and I can use them to create products to sell. My wish came true and more. Not only can I use them for my creations and sell them, I can go to the message board and meet so many others who give me more ideas, inspiration, help when I need it, and friendship. I am so glad pcCrafter is out there. Their graphics, artists, and angel policy is just what I wanted. How did you know? I go to craft shows and am so proud of the product I have to sell and I don’t feel I have the same old thing everyone else has. People are awed by the graphics and ask me where I get them. I point them to pcCrafter. Thank You so much.
