Ok, so other than tracking, we all know
what is essential to success in IM... The list!
You hear people talking about it like
some magical potion. Get the list!
The list will make it happen... All
you need is the list!
Well, a list isn't magic... It won't
cure your money woes automatically,
and it won't guarantee your success.
A list is a relationship. One you share
with dozens, hundreds, thousands, or
even tens of thousands of people who
all have a common interest - like the
relationship I share with you.
You can choose to be an authority,
a "guru", an average Joe, an ally, an
enemy, or even a big Rich Jerk... *wink*!
But you have to build a relationship.
You have to become someone that your
subscribers grow to know, like, and
yes - trust.
If you've been in IM for any length of
time, you know how valuable that is to
your success. You've seen people with
a lot of potential - good, honest
people - get "caught up" in having so
much influence, and ruin their
careers with a single email broadcast.
We all have.
But a relationship means nothing if
there is nobody to share it with!
You wouldn't be sending out special
offers, neat articles, and interesting
links to a list with nobody on it, would you?
So its important to build a list WHILE
you build trust. Otherwise, you're building
trust with Aweber or GetResponse - not your
target market.
In all my internet marketing experience,
I've figured out many things that work...
And many, many things that don't. Squeeze
pages aren't easy to create. You have to
have the right offer, the right copy, the
right graphics, etc. etc...
And all of these elements have to work
together to compell your visitors to strike
up a conversation with you, and fill in
their details.
Using what I've learned, I built my very
first internet marketing list to 20,000
people in less than a year. Today, that
list is at 35,000 and still going strong.
Can you imagine the potential your business
would have with that sized list? If you built
it right, and created a trusting relationship
with your readers, you could be financially
set for life!
Next week, you're going to learn how to
cut your learning curve to 30 seconds flat
- for free, no less! Nothing like this has
ever been done before, so keep your eyes
peeled!
