Turning Text into Excel Formulas
A reader asks:
"I have a Microsoft Excel 2003 spreadsheet in which I need to build a formula from text found in different cells, then evaluate that formula. For a simple example, suppose the cell contained "=SQR" & "T(25)"-that should evaluate to the square root of 25, or 5. Building the formula by concatenating text strings is no problem, but how do I tell Excel to evaluate the formula?"
