The parties are over, we've all headed back to work and now is the time when New Years resolutions start to turn into just a distant memory. Rather than letting this happen, now is the time to really focus on establishing new habits and making small, concrete changes.

Resolution One: Eat More Salads!
Rather than resolving to simply "eat healthier", define what, specifically, this means to you. Here's one idea: have a light and healthy vegetarian salad for lunch every day. Pack your salad in a plastic container the night before so you can grab it on your way to work in the morning. Sometimes, if I'm really pressed for time, I'll just throw all my salad fixings in the container and do my chopping and slicing on my lunch break before eating. Here are a few healthy green salad recipes to help you get healthy and feel great this new year:

Resolution Two: Get the kids to eat better!
It's no secret that the average American diet isn't too healthy - and that goes for kids AND adults! Set a good example by modeling healthy eating practices and letting kids pick which fruits and vegetables they want to eat.
