Eddie Wall has scored the cover of the TransWorld Snowboarding Photo Issue with a shot from Chile during a summertime trip. Its an artsy backside 180, with an assisted nosegrab thrown in for good measure. The assist came courtesy of Jake Welch, who reached out and grabbed Eddies tail as he was on the chairlift alongside Eddie.
Inside the photo annual youll get more photos of the DC team, namely a nice one of Chas with a nose block on a New Hampshire shingle roof

PASTRANA LANDS ON THE RACER X COVER
This is The Life. Thats the headline that accompanies a Travis Pastrana photo on the cover of this months Racer X Illustrated as the mag caught up with Travis at the Glamis Sand Dunes in California. (Glamis served as the site of one of the premieres of Thrillbillies).
As Racer X notes, even though Travis rarely races these days hes still the most well-known dirt bike rider on the p***t. The nine-page article inside focuses on how thats possible, including notes about the state of Travis life right now and how ridiculously cool it is. One day hes jumping out of an airp*** without a parachute. The next, trying a solo mission at the Baja 1000 on a stock dirt bike.
The February 08 issue of Racer X Illustrated is on stands now.

DCs ROBBIE MADISON SETS NEW MOTORCYCLE DISTANCE JUMP WORLD RECORD
Robbie had to pin it and get up to 94 mph to make the jump.
A big congratulations to DC flow team rider Robbie Madison who set a new world record for longest jump on a motor bike! He did it in front of the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, beating a record that the late great Evil Knievel said could never be broken. Robbie flew a huge 3227 on a CR450 to set the new record (get photos and more info here at www.twmx.com).
The jump launched Robbie 60 feet high, giving him another world record.
Even though the World Record is now his, this isnt the end of Robbies distance jumping days. On March 29 hell try and jump even further in Melbourne, Australia, saying, There is definitely more left in the tank and I believe, with the support of the Aussie crowd and the awesome facilities being constructed, I will be able to nudge the 340-foot mark. Stay tuned!
