One of the time tested tools in any real estate investor's toolbox is rehabbing ugly houses. They will find various ways to locate distressed properties and then buy them in such a way that they can rehab, remodel, update, or repair the place and still make a handsome profit. It can be either very lucrative or it can be a disaster.
