Happy New Year Harry!

I wanted to take a moment and wish you a healthy,
happy and musically successful 2008!!! I had a great
night last night. My band ‘Gypsy Schaeffer’ performed
for a packed house of excited revelers.

We debuted six brand new tunes that will be featured
on an upcoming CD we’re currently working on. It’s
always an exciting and exhilarating experience to see
a CD come together from start to finish.

During this time of year I always try to take some
time to reflect on the past year’s accomplishments
and choose my goals for the coming year. I choose
what musical projects, such as the new CD I just
mentioned, I will focus on. And I also decide what
musical areas I want to learn and master.

A few weeks ago I sent out an email to all of my
newsletter readers asking them to tell me their
burning questions--what topics they were finding
difficult to learn and master.

You see I’m currently putting together a course
(one of my big projects for 2008) dedicated to
helping aspiring jazz musicians Learn Jazz Faster.
It will be jam packed full of tips, tools and
strategies. But I don’t want to leave anything out.

I got a ton of great questions about jazz. But I
noticed there was a common theme. Many people told
me that they were suffering from ‘information overload’.
They are overwhelmed by the amount of information
available (books, DVDs, website, etc). They don’t
know what to practice.

Honestly, this used to be a big problem for me, too.
But, after many years of trial and error, I’ve figured
out how to keep on track and design my practice routines
to make sure I achieve my goals.

I’ve been toying with the idea of putting my system
into a workbook form that would walk you through
the process of taking your big goals (become a great
jazz musician, etc) and figuring out what to practice
today.

Knowing that what you’re practicing today is
moving you towards your musical goals is a great feeling.
It beats the heck out of the doubt and stress of not
knowing if you’re practicing the right stuff or just
wasting your time.

I’ve never seen anything like this workbook in the
music world. Would a book like this be helpful to you
if it meant that you could easily choose your practice
routines with confidence and without doubt?

I get great pleasure from helping other musicians achieve
their goals. If I can save another musician the grief of
making the same mistakes I made then I feel like I’m
really doing something important. I wonder if you
would mind helping me out.

Please send me an email (hit the reply button) and let
me know a couple of things.

1 Would you be interested in a book that took the
pressure off of you and helped you stay on the fast
track to your musical dreams?

2 What are your unique challenges with
‘information overload’?

Thank you so much for your time. I will personally
respond to every email I receive with any helpful
advice I can offer, even if that means responding
to hundreds of emails.

So please hit your reply button now and let me know!

Happy New Year!
Dedicated To Your Musical Success,
Chris Punis
