KOA boots Ch. 9 weather team in cost-cutting move
KOA-radio is ending its relationship with the 9News weather department
after the first of the year and will no longer use Channel 9's
meteorologists. The station is weighing options, but might choose
to save money by having its anchors read the forecast. KOA will
continue to share the helicopter with KUSA for the time being.
