Happy Holidays & Blessings for 2008
2007 is a completion year and wrapped up very strongly as it tested our ability to surf the wave of the new and unknown! In November and December alone, you may have felt the pendulum swings between old goofiness and glimpses of blissful new possibilities. The urge to get rid of the past and settle into the NOW is a sign that you are making space for what lies ahead.

2008 comes as an opportunity to CHANGE YOUR LIFE! I am happy to ride this current and embrace more of the joy and happiness coming my way. One of my greatest joys is writing and much has been bubbling up this year. I am itching to share with others, so I thought now was a good time to do that. See below. Also, I am working on a book about the magic of the flower essences of the Columbia River Gorge.

3 Flowers Healing will be going through transition as well. I am currently seeking a new home in Hood River for my son and I to live (by May 1 or before) and also plan to move 3 Flowers Healing’s downtown shop/office into or near our home space. I’d love to have gardens and Nature spaces to offer more teaching, consultations & flower healing sessions, and camps for kids. I’m looking for a lease with an option to buy. Please contact me if you have any leads or you are interested in helping make this happen. I am open to creative partnerships/community as well.

I welcome the assistance of Dani Palacio who will be expanding her roles in marketing and sales for 3 Flowers Healings. She is a being of joy and very attuned to the flowers. They are talking to her all the time now. Thank you to Marylynne for her shining presence and assistance too.

I feel very grateful and blessed to be a part of your life sharing the flowers and inspiration from Nature. Thank you & May 2008 Become All You Dreamed For. Think BIG.

    Nature Speaks-- Book Introduction
This is an introduction to a magical book I am writing...

Don’t listen to grownups. Most of them don’t believe in fairies. Even the grown-ups that live in your head can discount your experiences or dissolve your present time sense of mystery and magic through their interjections of doubt, skepticism, and judgment.

I am writing this book with subversive intentions. I am ready to break through my repressive tendencies. Maybe you do too? My ‘Nature Girl’ has a thriving creative imagination and she’s tired of grown ups. Her bursting joy and intensely infectious passion has laid dormant until I had the courage to kick the grown ups out of my head and stop being so darn serious. Life is a magical synchronicity of cosmic events that circle, spiral, and dance in my very being all the time. The more I see through the eyes of my true self and the wonderment of a child the more the world comes alive in living, breathing, singing color.

I got in touch with my inner self by lazing in bed really late in the morning, dreaming, shamanic journeying, and exploring my deep heart-full connection to the flowers, plants, trees, animals, and Mother Earth. These relationships as well as my many human and healing encounters have cracked me open again and again and again. Each time, a new more vulnerable heart willingly emerges.

Stepping into my growing sensitivity over and over has not been easy. Yet this opening to my feeling nature has brought deep and profound love and oneness. Doors have opened wide to the exploration of myself as Nature too. Not separate, but an integral connected part of Nature. Communicating in Nature’s language and opening to the invisible realms feeds my soul’s longing like nothing else I know. It enriches my life with meaning and joy. It is grace.

I would like to take you into my world of nature spirits—fairies, gnomes, devas, tree sprites, mermaids, and elementals. These are true fairy stories. If you don’t believe, then you must be a grown-up.

Here lies a world of true riches. The colors seem brighter, the senses more transcendent, the songs more beautiful than any you’ve ever heard. I take you into my world not as a way to escape the mundane but to bridge these worlds as one—the spiritual and material worlds. In my world they are one and the same—always overlapping becoming One. My work and play have brought me a deeper commitment to being more fully present and embodied as a human on Mother Earth, the Goddess Gaia.

If you want to, you too can explore being in nature in a new way. You can open your creative imagination. You can pretend you see, feel, or dance with the fairies too. Most people do not enter into an intimate relationship with Nature, even through this knowing exists in their bones. For those that want to, read on.

These stories are my experiences of joy. It is a joy to share them with you. My stories are offerings to the fairies and devas and spirits of the plants in gratitude. As I listen to them, I hold their whisperings as sacred. Their stories are portals or doorways. Open the door and walk through. Maybe there is a story that holds the key for you. Remember to kick the grownup out of your head before you begin.

    A Gift from The Gnomes
I went down to the Hood River to re-energize. The water fairies greeted me with washes of pleasurable energy. They told me the gnomes wanted to talk to me. So I wandered down to the big heart-shaped rock in the river near where the gnomes traverse to a island to work with crystals, rocks, and the earth.

A whole group of gnomes gathered around me. There were quite a few. Wow. They knew I was writing a book at the urging of Brita, the mermaid and the other water beings. They really wanted to be included in the book too.
“Sure! I’d love to include you and your important work for the Earth in the book,” I said.
They seemed very happy to hear this. They gave me a gift. It was a very strange looking bright red plumaged thing on a stick. The feathery petals hung down from the top around a pole. I was supposed to put it on my head. OK. I did. I felt a bit silly but whatever. After all, I was talking to a group of gnomes. I asked them about the island of rocks and tree stumps in the middle of the river where they spent time. They showed me the channels of crystals underground beneath Mt. Hood and down into the valley. The crystals were beautiful and pure white in color. They also showed me some beautiful crystal groupings of different types of gemstones. They used these groupings for different things. I could see there was more magic going on on this island than could be seen at first sight, like there were etheric waterfalls and colorful waterways.

Gnomes are important for the Earth as they stabilize patterns of energy. They are masters at holding and focusing energy. They wear red hats so I thought maybe the red headpiece they gave me was some kind of honorary gnome hat. Just then a beautiful turquoise colored rod floated towards me and blended with my red head piece in a dance of color. (Maybe this was an elemental blending of my water (turquoise) and earth (red) energies?) So now my head “crest” was becoming more colorful.

I was getting ready to go when one gnome said, “You know Santa is a big gnome!” Oh, Yeah? I then realized Santa always wears a red hat too! Hmmmm.

    Color Experiments with Leprechauns
I saw a leprechaun in the most pure green, magical place. Green was everywhere and it felt good. The leprechaun led me on a path. We walked by amazing sea/plant looking creatures of all different pastel hues—pinks, cream, coral colors. I felt like I was floating instead of walking though. “You’re trying too hard,” said the leprechaun. “OK,” I tried harder to not try so hard. “Take it easy, relax.” I did and landed on the ground. We walked further to meet the other leprechauns. They were happy to have a human to conduct some experiments with color and the emotional body’s response to the different colors. So they showed me lots of beautiful, colorful things. These weren’t ordinary colors; these were colors from other realms and dimensions and seemed very exaggerated for our world. The colors were quite beautiful and used in strange and interesting ways. They observed my emotional body in my aura to find out how the different colors were affecting me emotionally. I could sense and feel some of the shifts in my energy system as my body danced with color. September 2007
