2007 has been a year of historic breakthroughs in the fight to stop global warming. Here are just a few of the most important 2007 global warming victories we achieved:

• We co-founded the U.S. Climate Action Partnership (USCAP), a group of leading companies and national environmental groups calling for hard limits on global warming pollution.
• Environmental Defense lawyers helped argue the landmark Supreme Court case Massachusetts et al. v. U.S. EPA, which ruled that carbon dioxide is a pollutant under the Clean Air Act and that the EPA has the obligation to protect Americans from global warming.
• Just yesterday, a key House committee chairman promised to introduce legislation early next year to cap America's global warming pollution, setting the stage for our all out campaign to make history in 2008.

We need to raise $350,000 between now and December 31st to give us the resources we need to make 2008 the year of historic action.
