2007: The Year In Film |
| |
2007: The Year In Film reviews the past year's films from Hollywood, with help from some of the industry's top names. The programme looks at the success of animated films, especially Ratatouille; musicals such as Hairspray; and biopics featuring musicians like Bob Dylan and Edith Piaf. In addition, Talking Movies presenter Tom Brook (pictured) speaks to actor/director John Cusack about why the war films from 2007 have largely been praised by critics yet performed poorly at the box office. These include the Cusack film Grace Is Gone which explores the cost of the war on a family, A Mighty Heart, Rendition and the star studded Lions For Lambs.
