Editor's Corner: Change Is Coming
Why is it easier to make big changes at the beginning of the year? Besides the days growing longer, January isn't really that different from December.
And yet it feels like a clean slate, an opportunity to improve yourself.
In 2008, creativepro.com is taking advantage of that new-year momentum to unveil a redesign we've been working on for months. With the new structure,
it will be much easier to find articles and other resources, and much simpler to interact with creativepro.com authors and other site members. There
will be more goodies, too, but we'll reveal those closer to the site's debut in mid-January.
While we'll be smoothing out new-site wrinkles for the rest of December, this is the last weekly creativeprose newsletter you'll receive in 2007.
I hope that the year ends well for you. I'll talk to you again on January 2!
— Terri Stone, editor in chief
New to Flash?
In this how-to, Jen deHaan explains how easy it can be to build a banner in Adobe Flash. In parts two and three of this series
(on creativepro.com in January), you'll add an animation, create a button that opens a browser window, and add the banner to a web page.
