Polar Bear Christmas
By Lori Gardner

I have decided that I love Photoshop. I was scared of it at first… there is so much to learn and know with a program like that. But with the few and I mean few skills I have mastered I am loving what I can do. Yesterday me and some friends went on a walk and ended up at a park playing in the snow. It was so fun! We took lots of pictures.

There was one of me that I especially liked but my coat was bent in a weird way exposing my neck. It just looked a little funny. So I took the picture into Photoshop and within two minutes I had copied my coat and made it cover my neck. That little tiny change made the picture look so much better. It now looks perfect and I am excited to use some of the snowy clipart to scrap my picture! Happy Holidays!

Top Tip:
I've found that the the zipped bags that a lot of curtains come in are wonderful for keeping notecards, stickers, scrapbooking supplies, glue for glue guns, etc. They hav a zipper so you don't have to worry about the seam coming open like you would with a ziploc bag. And, they come in various sizes making it really simple to put just about anything inside them. :)

What I Have Learned:
I have learned that no matter how old your children are...they are still your children & you are still "the mother". One of my sons, who is 25, is in New York City this week, looking for a job as a web designer. My other two children live in other towns in Oklahoma. We have had a big ice storm here in Oklahoma this week & the first thing you think about when something like that happens, is if your children are safe. One son is married & has started a life away from our home, but he is still my little boy. The one that is in New York City is the oldest, but I still need a call from him every day or two, to make sure he is safe, while he is there. No matter how old your children get, you never stop worrying about them. They make fun of me & roll their eyes, when I tell them to check in, but I wonder how many children there are, especially this time of year, that have never known that. I have learned that all they need to know is that they are loved...that's enough.

About:
I am Becky Hansen. I live on a dirt road in a little town called Belding, MI. I have a husband of almost 30 years, 4 children, and 2 grand daughters I enjoy making favors for friends weddings. My picture was taken last year at the wedding of my friends daughter. I made mint books for her wedding, and she was thrilled. She said" I have been wondering what I was going to do for wedding favors. Thank You so much." The graphics from creatables make this possible and makes them turn out beautiful. I have used them as shower gifts. I make mint books, or seed packets, or tents, and put them in a gift bag. I usually make about 100 and ask if they'll need more. I try to find out ahead of time what the color scheme of the wedding is so I can coordinate. With all of the graphics pccrafter has to offer, I usually have no problem. I get so many compliments and am asked where I get such beautiful graphics. I point them to pccrafter. I just Love the message board. I am always getting new ideas and there is always someone with just the knowledge and advice I need when I need it. Thanks for all you do!
