Ruff Yeager has re-imagined the classic Dickens tale from the point of view of the story's most sympathetic character--Tiny Tim. In this treatment, however, our little hero is all grown up and, after a series of hilariously harrowing life experiences; his path parallels that of his old family friend--Mr. Scrooge. Our Tiny Tim, too, must be visited by the three Spirits of Christmas and learn the hard lessons of forgiveness, generosity, and good will. A colorful cast of characters includes Mrs. Castillo (Tim's secretary), an energetic Girl Scout as the Ghost of Christmas Past, a Bob-Barkeresque Ghost of Christmas Present, and many other favorites taken from the original source. The show features 14 new songs with titles like "The Script's Gonna Hit the Fan," "Odd Man Out," "La Fiesta de la Buena Noche," and "Lousy So-and-So."

In this Staged Reading, Humorist Jean Shepherd's memoir of growing up in the midwest in the 1940s follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker in his quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the tree for Christmas. Ralphie pleads his case before his mother, his teacher and even Santa Claus himself, at Goldblatt's Department Store. The consistent response: "You'll shoot your eye out."
