More people are migrating to find work and income today than at any time in history; and half of these people are women. Often they are exploited and forced into prostitution or slave labour. If they do manage to escape and make their way home, life for them is often far from easy. Survivor's Guide looks at the plight of women who have often been abused or badly treated both at home and abroad.

Olivier Picasso (pictured), grandson of the famous artist, explains how the cutting edge galerie Emmanuel Perrotin has helped to re-establish Paris' reputation in the art world. While the three Michelin-starred chef Philippe Legendre visits cheese shop Quatrehomme. Owned by a husband and wife team, Legendre attributes part of his success to the produce supplied by the store.
