Training for Contracting Officer Technical Representatives

On November 26, 2007 formal certification and continuous learning requirements were issued for Contracting Officer Technical Representatives (http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/procurement/memo/fac-cotr.pdf)

Government*Horizons offers the following courses in support of FAC-COTR training requirements:

Essential Competencies Training for COTR Certification

Twenty-two of the required 40 hours of training must cover essential COTR competencies. These courses are designed to fulfill this requirement:

Competency-based Training for Certification Maintenance

40 hours of continuous learning must be completed every two years or COTRs may lose certification. In addition to the courses listed above, these specialized topics strengthen core competencies required for FAC-COTR maintenance:
